Todd – Drama, Thriller
Category – Movie
Content – Todd has always felt like the odd man out, and it is apparent that he most definitely is. While on his medication, he seems to function OK, not great by any means. But off the meds and Todd is a very different man. Revengeful, vindictive and implacable defines him. He appears to like this waitress, but off the meds and he torments her. He also decides to take revenge on his doctor. While the movie is called “Todd”, it seems to focus way too much on the doctor and his family problems. Something I felt unattached to and quite frankly bored with. We had way too much Doctor and not enough Todd! This scores a 5 out of 10.
Acting – Todd is played by Hans Hernke, and does a remarkably decent job. We just needed more Todd and more of his demented thoughts. I think Hans could have pulled off much more in the film if the writing had allowed him too. Once he was deceitful, the movie actually played better. While Aaron Jackson did a good job playing the doctor, it was just too much. Score is 6 out of 10.
Duration – 91 mins. This film was way too Doctor friendly instead of seeing the demented ways and thoughts of Todd. If we could have gotten to demented much sooner and seen more Todd, I think the movie would have flowed much better. While the timing is short, it needed tweaking in the storyline. This gets a 5 out of 10.

Recommended Watch – A good attempt at an independent crazy film, it just lacked the crazy. This movie needed more intensity regarding Todd. Not sure I would recommend a watch here?
