Content – Clare is an Orbit driver, and gets a call for a pick up and drop off at LAX. When Carl E gets into the car, Clare has no idea what this one night in her life will turn out to be. He says he has just killed the four people in the house that she picked him up at, but has he? As he wields a knife in Clare’s face, she decides to make a bold move and crash her car. Clare jumps out of the car, and as Carl E stumbles out, she jumps back in the car and drives off. Whew, she calls the cops and will be able to put this weird night behind her. But alas, Carl E has different plans in mind for this thrilling 13 hour night. All 13 episodes of this series starts with a new hour, beginning at 7pm. And not one episode is over 10 minutes long! So this series moves quick and someone can easily watch the entire series in one day. The concept is actually kinda cool, and The Stranger is an intriguing quick thriller. A lot develops in a short time, and the ending is a big thumbs up! A few incidents that happen are a little far fetched and can be slightly confusing, but overall a good thrill! This scores a 7 out of 10.
Acting – The entire cast really consists of three people. Dane DeHaan who plays the deranged Carl E, Maika Monroe who plays the scared victim and Avan Jogia, the confused but seemingly caring store clerk. The brilliant performance in this series is performed by Dane DeHaan. He is demented, twisted and deranged, and the his performance is breath-taking! Score is 8 out of 10.

Recommended Watch – Yes, it flows well and you might think the quickness of the episodes would cause a lack in production, but it is not at all. Less than a ten minute episode definitely has the production value of a very high budget series. Well done and it is a good watch!
