Nobody – Action, Drama
Category – Movie

Content – Nobody is the House Husband’s version of John Wick. Hutch is married with children and has the typical job that he hates. When people break into his house and he fails to take charge, his son is disappointed and this throws Hutch into another world. A world of rage and turmoil, and he sets out to take revenge. While this movie is not original, there are lots of fight scenes and scenarios that are quite entertaining. And Hutch’s dad David is the comic relief within this action filled film, and is very entertaining. Although we have seen this story line before, this movie was still enjoyable to watch. This scores a 6 out of 10.

Acting – I heard Bob Odenkirk trained for months to be able to do all his own fight sequences in this movie. I admire that level of commitment and the want to make a movie look right. And his training paid off as he did a great job! I absolutely love that Christopher Lloyd played his comedic dad, a role that Mr Lloyd can pull off SO well these days. And he got plenty of his own action in as well. RZA even makes an appearance at the end to help his friends kick butt. All in all, a unexpected good cast for a high packed action film.  Score is 7 out of 10.

Duration – 92 mins. Just over an hour and a half, and I always think this timing is good for your “beat em up” type films. Why drag out the revenge? Get it over and (hopefully) move on with life. This gets a 9 out of 10.

TOTAL INDEX for Nobody – 22 out of 30

Recommended Watch – Sure, this is a good middle of the week beer kinda movie. It is just simple action packed fun. Nothing original, but what action movies are these days?
