Deep Blue Sea 3 – Action, Sci-Fi
Category – Movie
Content – A lot of times movies continue with a franchise and the second, third, etc films don’t always work as good as the first. I must say that Deep Blue Sea 3 doesn’t follow this mold, it was just as good as part 1. We leave part 2 with a compound of scientists that have been brain altering sharks. Now, while studying the effects of climate change in the water, Emma and her team are visited by an old classmate with a problem. Three ultra smart bull sharks have escaped and Richard and his team have tracked them to Emma’s compound. While tensions and emotions run high, Emma agrees to help Richard catch these three sharks. Yes, it is another shark movie, but this one is pretty darn good! The special effects of the sharks are of the highest quality. The movie has plenty of action and great stunts, both in and out of the water. I’ve seen some questionable shark movies, but this one was a great watch. This scores a 8 out of 10.
Acting – While I haven’t heard of Tania Raymonde, she did a great job portraying the lead of this movie as Emma. She was strong and her action scenes were great, especially underwater with the sharks. And Nathaniel Buzolic does a good job as the other lead playing Richard. While his team is filled with muscular men, he does a good job leading them into action. All in all, the acting was good and deserves an applause for their scenes underwater. Score is 8 out of 10.
Duration – 1 hr 39 min. This shark film keeps moving in a fast pace. There is never a low moment or a place where you get bored. It is full of action while maintaining a great Sci-Fi vibe. This gets a 8 out of 10.
