Booksmart – Comedy
Category – Movie
Content – Molly and Amy are Seniors in high school, and realize that being booksmart only has not allowed them to have any fun in high school. So on the day before graduation we watch them attempt to find a party and do just that. So the entire film take place on 2 days total of these teen agers lives. It is cute and insightful; definitely a chick flick. It reminds me of the high school movies of the 80’s; but with a 2020 vibe! An excellent start though for Olivia Wilde’s feature directorial debut – She did a great job!!! This scores a 7 out of 10.
Acting – Beanie Feldstein (Jonah Hill’s sister by the way) and Kaitlyn Dever are extremely fun to watch as they embark on their night of senior raging of partying. Both actresses do a good job and make you feel like you are part of their lives. Scores a 7 out of 10.
Duration – 1 hr 42 min. The time is perfect, not too long and not too short. You get everything you need out of this film in this time frame. This gets a 7 out of 10.
